Flammkuchen with goat's cheese and figs (or chicory)

Fancy a new variant of flammkuchen? Then don't miss this creation with fresh goat's cheese, Serrano ham and figs. Baked paper-thin, but richly filled - simply a delight. Not a fan of figs? This recipe is also very tasty with chicory!

Ingredients

for 2 persons
1 roll of flammkuchen dough
50 g Bettine Pearls
Crème fraîche
Spring onion, cut into rings
100 g Serrano ham
1/2 bunch of flat parsley, finely chopped
4 figs, finely chopped

Zubereitung

    1. Preheat the oven to 250 °C (top and bottom heat). Preheat the baking tray on the bottom shelf of the oven.
    2. Place the dough on baking paper and brush generously with crème fraîche. Spread the spring onion, Bettine pearls and serrano ham on top and bake at the bottom of the oven for about 8-10 minutes until crisp and cooked through.
    3. Remove the flammkuchen from the oven and top with the fig slices and sprinkle with parsley.

Chicory variant: Fry the chicory slices in a frying pan with a little butter until soft. Remove any hard stumps and place the slices on the flammkuchen.
